⚙️ How It Works

Our system operates through a sophisticated automated pipeline:

1. Data Collection: Every day, we query NASA's APOD API to retrieve the latest astronomy picture, description, and metadata
2. AI Processing: OpenAI analyzes the image and NASA's description to generate two versions of captions:
   • Concise captions (for quick engagement)
   • Detailed captions (for deeper learning)
3. Content Enhancement: Adds relevant hashtags, proper attribution, and links to the original NASA source
4. Publication: Posts the content to our Facebook pages using the Facebook Graph API
5. Tracking: Records post history and prevents duplicates to ensure content quality
