Facebook Page Access Token: Used solely to post content to our Facebook Page
Post Records: Information about posts made (date, title, image URL, post status)
API Response Data: Responses from NASA API and OpenAI for content generation

We do NOT collect: Personal information from website visitors, user authentication data, cookies for tracking, or any third-party user data.

2. How We Use Information

The information we collect is used exclusively for:

Fetching astronomy content from NASA's public APOD API
Generating educational captions using AI
Posting astronomy images to our Facebook Page
Tracking post history and status for operational purposes
Preventing duplicate posts for the same date

3. Third-Party Services

Our application integrates with the following third-party services:

NASA APOD API: To fetch daily astronomy pictures and descriptions. NASA API Policy

We implement appropriate security measures to protect our data:

Access tokens are stored securely in environment variables
Server access is restricted and protected
HTTPS encryption for all web traffic
Regular security updates and monitoring

5. Data Retention

We retain post records indefinitely for operational tracking. Facebook Page Access Tokens are refreshed as needed and old tokens are replaced. No personal user data is stored as we do not collect any.

6. International Data

Our servers may be located in different regions. By using our service, you acknowledge that data may be processed in locations outside your country of residence.

7. Children's Privacy

Our service does not collect any personal information and is not directed at children under 13. The content we post (astronomy pictures) is educational and suitable for all ages.
